Manage Zenable without leaving your IDE

ChangelogProEnterprise

You asked to tune and tweak Zenable without leaving your IDE. Now you can. The chat experience previously only on zenable.app has been extended into our MCP server to let you tweak scopes, propose requirements, and refine guardrails through conversation -- so your coding agent of choice can do the same thing without you ever leaving your editor.

Define a requirement from a local design doc. Refine a guardrail using a private repo as evidence. Stand up a new scope tied to the service you're working on right now. The agent does the local reasoning over your files and only sends Zenable the structured outcome -- the requirement, scope, or guardrail itself. Your code, context, and unrelated files stay on your machine.

Pro tip: pair this with our new audit and warn modes -- ask your agent to draft an audit-only requirement, watch the data roll in for a few days, and then promote it to warning or enforcement after you get a chance to tune it based on how it behaves in practice. More details in the MCP getting-started guide.
